I got a call from Brother Carter from the Stake High Council on Tuesday. He wanted to meet with me, and suggested we do so on Sunday. All week long I tried to think what he might want. I know he used to be in charge of seminary, but had heard that he was now over primary scouting (Cubs & EYOs). Since I’m the EYO leader, Tassie and I thought it would be a meet-and-greet, get to know you.
Turns out, we were wrong. Seems the Elder’s Quorum is being reorganized, and Roger Brinkerhoff is to be the new president and I am to be the First Counselor with Braden Anderson as Second.
Wow. I’m not even sure what is expected, but we will see!
