Today was Elizabeth’s baptism. What a glorious day.
Ashlynn and Elizabeth decided to be baptized on the same day. Lots of relatives came out including:
- Grandma & Grandpa Wieder
- Mandy & Steve Geisler
- Dean…Yeah, I don’t know his name
- Brian & Chelsey Bergquist
Torrie decided to make Lizard’s dress as her personal progress goal. She spent lots and lots of time on it. She did a great job on it. It turned out beautifully.
Mandy made Ashlynn’s dress.
I was set to baptize Elizabeth and Brian would baptize Ashlynn. We got everything set up and Bishop Althoff conducted. I baptised Lizard and Brian baptized Ashlynn.
When I came out from getting dressed, Ian tells me that we forgot Lizard’s dress back at the house. All she had was her jeans and a white shirt. I knew Tassie would be upset, but she appeared to be quite fine. Chelsey ran back to the house to get it, but we could not delay long enough.
In the end we had Lizard confirmed in her jeans. Not exactly what we planned, but it worked out well. All in all, everything worked out well and it was a great day.
I still can’t believe that my little Lizard is old enough to be baptized.
