The other day Jon came home with a card in his hand. It was a graduation card.
He had received it from someone at school. The note written inside thanked him for being a bright spot in this person’s day and wished him well in the future.
It also included 2 $50 bills.
The card was given to Jon by the school janitor.
It makes me very proud to know that my son has been able to be a bright spot in someone’s day, but most especially someone most would consider to be below them.
Jon makes me proud in many ways, but his character and they way he treats others speaks volumes about who he is and will be in the future.
