Allie was in her first car accident today!
I had picked her up from band camp in Jon’s Blazer and we were driving home on Woods Chapel. Traffic slowed so people could turn left onto Castle.
They slowed.
I slowed.
The lady behind me didn’t.
I saw it coming, so it wasn’t a suprise.
I checked to make sure Allie was ok, and she was.
I then got out and noticed that she’d hit the trailer hitch, causing no damage to the Blazer. She had some damage to the front of her car.
I made sure she was ok and told her there was no damage to our car. I gave her the option of checking out damage, in case she wanted to make a police report.
She quickly declined.
Too quickly, in fact.
Allie was shaken up, but other than that, all was well.
