For the last 6 or 7 years, the majority of my job has been that of a computer programmer. It started with MS Access (VBA) then Visual Basic and now Java.
While I am learning more and more Java all them time, I really do not like it. To me, it’s just not fun. I always had fun when doing Access & VB. Even today when I am doing Access work at Pizza Hut, I really enjoy it. I wish I had more opportunities to work with Access and VB
I never learned VB.net. My last version was VB6. .net is, from my understanding, similar to Java. Despite that, I’d still like to try it out. Microsoft offers an Express Edition, which is free, and I’ve downloaded and installed it, but I’ve not done much with it. Not enough free time.
I used to be really good at Access & VB, but I am afraid that, like an unused muscle, my skills are getting weak. That’s too bad…they were always my favorite.
