Tassie has been working at The EDEN Bookshop for a while now. It is owned by Pete Grigsby, the weather man on KNBC here in Kansas City.
He also happens to be a member of the church, so we see him there on occasion.
We’ve gotten to know him a bit better over the past few months. Turns out he’s just a normal, down-to-earth guy.
Jon, however, is very fan-boy over him.
He’s quitting his job at KMBC (his contract was not going to be renewed anyways) and will begin teaching at the Blue Springs School District. Jon is already planning to change his schedule for next year so he can have him as a teacher.
Goofball.
